Tips for installing ceramic tiles

There are 2 types of techniques that can be used when installing ceramic tiles: Thick-bed and thin-bed.

As is well-known, the surface must be level and clean when installing ceramic tiles so they adhere properly. Always apply a fine layer for interiors.

Use a toothed trowel, a white rubber mallet, a bubble level and a suction cup.

You should use the double adhesive technique for exteriors. In other words, the adhesive should be applied to both the support as well as the back of the ceramic piece. And, above all, carefully read the manufacturer’s instructions for the glue and adhesive.
