We’re taking part in Milan’s Fuorisalone this week, showcasing our ceramics in the installation ‘The Light in the Darkness’, designed by the Valencian studio Viruta Lab. This project, part of the official program for Milan Design Week, pays tribute to the solidarity that illuminated the towns of Valencia after the disaster last October.
Located in the historic Università degli Studi di Milano, better known as La Statale, the installation transforms the space into a visual homage to the light that emerged from the darkness. With a central structure made up of 18 totems, acting as life-sized candelabras, the play of light and shadow creates an atmosphere filled with symbolism.
In this powerful setting, we’ve contributed a carefully curated selection of small-format ceramics. Our Murano collection, in Orange and Talco tones, and Isola Capri in Orange, available in both plain and textured finishes, bring a warm palette that evokes the earth and clay—perfectly in tune with the concept of the installation. All the pieces feature an elegant 7.5×30 cm format that highlights the rich colors and variety of textures.
Our participation underscores our commitment to design, as we continue to explore new ways of integrating ceramics into spaces that stir emotions and engage with light. It’s a demonstration of how our material can go beyond its traditional uses to become a true medium of cultural and artistic expression.
From April 7th to 13th, Milan becomes the global epicenter of design, and we’re proud to be part of this international stage with a proposal that showcases the creativity and innovation of Spanish ceramics.
